A Father’s Day Breakfast

What could be better for breakfast on Father’s Day than some Gubbeen Streaky Bacon and Rosscarbery Black Pudding both rescued from the back of the freezer the previous evening.

Whilst down in the basement I spotted that the a mushroom log made out of coffee grounds that someone gave me a month or so ago has started to sprout without me having done anything to it. You are supposed to open it up and spray it with water before it starts to do its business but appears that the basement is damp enough as it is. I will need to find something to cook them with. It looks as if there is enough just for me.

Listening to Matthew E. White and his album Big Inner. Messed up gospel soul like a more gentle Spiritualized so just right for a Sunday morning.
